Architecture
At the end of this hall, models, photographic panels, and a topographic map show the distinctive pre-Romanesque church architecture that has been preserved in Zadar and Nin and in many other places throughout the broader Zadar region.
The same case also displays several examples of the wooden beams of the roof of the Church of St. Donatus dated to early 9th century, discovered in the 1970s during conservation work at this church. The examples of carved ornament on these beams with traces of paint are of particular value, not only in Croatia.
