Display Case No. 4

The exhibited pottery represents a selection of the ritual ceramic items, dated from 8th to mid 9th centuries, placed in the graves of the deceased as travelling supplies for the afterlife. Most of the items were found at the Early Croatian cemetery at Ždrijac-Nin, the biggest and most important cemetery in Croatia featuring pagan burials.
