Display Case No. 3

A separate board exhibits very interesting jewellery items dated between c. 8th to 15th. Early Croatian jewellery dated between c. 9th to 11th is particularly distinguished. It is genuine Croatian jewellery, mainly earrings, displayed in several types and their variations.

After the conversion of Croats to Christianity had finished (in the early second half of c. 9th) jewellery had mostly replaced the objects of everyday use, weapons, pottery, etc. in their graves.
