The Mediaeval - Early Croatian Collection

The Mediaeval (Early Croatian) collection shows archaeological material from the wider Zadar area, from Croatian settling in the early 7th century to the downfall of the Croatian national dynasty in the early 12th century. There is also a small amount of jewellery dating from 15th century.

It consists of Early Croatian material culture artefacts, mainly grave findings (weapons, tools, jewellery, and pottery), church furnishings in stone, decorative architectural elements, epigraphic monuments, and sarcophagi.
